Essential Camera Shots

Tracking Shot:
Great for action sequences and keeping up with Big Wheel Tricycles.

Two Shot:
Not to be confused with having two shots after a big shoot day.

Over The Axe:
Also refereed to as Over The Shoulder.

High Angle:
Ideal for showing off unique carpet patterns.

Deep Focus:
Needed when actors are writing back to front.

Often followed by a ‘close up’ facial expression that reads: ‘what’s been seen, can’t be unseen.’

Mid/ Close Up:
Often used when a character is eating a sandwich and their finger is talking.

Locked Off:
For times when the talent freezes in front of the camera.
